After seeing the time, energy, and personal resources educators invest in their students every day, co-founders Kristen Bowie and Kim Peters created Opportunity GrantED to help bridge the gap between classroom needs and available school funding by awarding grants of $500 or less to teachers in underserved areas throughout Chicagoland.

From classroom libraries and STEM materials to art supplies, sensory tools, flexible seating, technology, and musical instruments, these resources create opportunities for students while helping teachers bring their ideas to life.
